Research Festival :

 

For this research festival, I have the following two preparations

 

1. Self-published artist book : a collection of my works from the last two years, bound by butterfly binding and printed on coated paper, featuring: high-resolution images of selected works showing their textures and details; detailed descriptions and critical reflections on each work, revealing my conceptual intentions and technical approach; research methods and ideas that underpin the project, showing how I explore between theory and practice; a studio diary, documenting the moments, challenges and inspirations of my daily work; and excerpts from interviews, demonstrating my personal viewpoints on art, identity, and cultural contexts. (78 pages in total)

 

2. An interactive magazine on the trajectory of self-awareness, presenting my inner dialog, emotional changes and artistic discoveries through visual and textual narratives. Incorporating interactive elements such as folded pages, laminated transparencies, and reflective prompts that encourage readers to actively interact with the content. The aim is to stimulate the reader's thinking and invite them to empathize with my trajectory of self-awareness. Through interactive design, the magazine transforms into a platform for conversation. Viewers can reflect on their interpretations of visuals and text. And annotate, draw or write ideas directly on the pages of the magazine. Seeing their participation as part of the publication's ongoing evolution. Goal: To emphasize the connection between the individual and the collective, the intertwining of the static and the dynamic. The viewer is not only an observer, but also a participant in the creation of meaning.
