Summer exhibition show:

The theme of my summer exhibition show is a continuation of my Unit 1 and Unit 2 work, based on exploring how colours can express personal awareness and emotions, and re-creating a selection of classic works. Creation method: Abstract expression combined with improvisation.Exhibition Format: A series of three 100✖150cm oil paintings. I hope to present them in the form of easel paintings. Research Festival

I hope that in Unit 3 I will continue to investigate how classical works can be translated and recreated in the form of abstract paintings.

I will probably focus on the decorative aspects of the Viennese Secession paintings, focusing on how to translate the decorative pictorial language and pictorial motifs of the early 19th century Viennese Secession paintings into abstract representational paintings, and how to create a three-dimensional sense of the picture by using the flatness of the paintings. I will use the research to assist my painting practice, and use my own painting practice to advance the research.
